Name: Abu Ghosh - Tigrat Police
Description: In 1912, the family of the head of the village, Mustafa Abu Ghosh, built a two-story building at a strategic point overlooking the village of Abu Ghosh. Water wells were dug in the courtyard of the building and orchards of fruit trees were planted. After several years, the building was rented to the German consul who was in Jerusalem.

שם: אבו גוש - משטרת טיגראט
תיאור: בשנת 1912 הקימה משפחתו של מוכתר הכפר, מוסטפא אבו גוש, מבנה דו קומתי בנקודה אסטרטגית הצופה על הכפר אבו גוש. בחצר המבנה נחפרו בארות מים ונשתלו בוסתני עצי פרי. לאחר מספר שנים הושכר המבנה לקונסול הגרמני שישב בירושלים.
הערות: במהלך המרד הערבי הגדול (1936-1939) פעלו ערביי ישראל נגד השלטון הבריטי ובין השאר תקפו את משטרת אבו גוש (למשל ביוני 1936 וב-21 באוקטובר 1937). בעקבות ערעור הביטחון הוזמן צ'ארלס טאגארט להציע דרכים לחיזוק המצב הביטחוני. טאגארט המליץ על הקמת תחנות משטרה וחיזוק משטרות קיימות. במסגרת תהליך זה חוזקה, ב-1941, גם משטרת אבו גוש במתכונת מצודות הטגארט.
