תיאור: הר הרצל הינו אתר לאומי מרכזי של מדינת ישראל והעם היהודי, בו מתקיים מדי שנה הטקס הממלכתי של הדלקת המשואו ומוכרז על פתיחת חגיגות יום העצמאות. בחלקת גדולי האומה בהר טמונים נשיאי המדינה, ראשי ממשלות, יושבי ראש הכנסת ואישים אחרים
הערות: בצדו הצפוני של אתר הר הרצל משתרע בית הקברות הצבאי של ירושלים ובצדו המערבי נמצא אתר "יד ושם". שלושת האתרים יחד מייצגים את האירועים המרכזיים בתקומת ישראל במאה העשרים. בכניסה להר נמצא מרכז הרצל שבו מתקיים מפגש אור קולי חוויתי מרגש עם חוזה המדינה וכן חדר עבודתו המשוחזר עם הרהיטים והחפצים המקוריים
