Name: The aforementioned monument
Description: The memorial to the NAD is located in the Jordan Valley about a kilometer southeast of Leitb. It was established in memory of 54 IDF soldiers who were killed in a helicopter crash in the Jordan Valley on May 10, 1977 (23 Bayer 1977), an event called the aforementioned disaster.

תיאור: אנדרטת הנ"ד נמצאת בבקעת הירדן כקילומטר דרומית מזרחית לייט"ב. היא הוקמה לזכר 54 חיילי צה"ל שנהרגו בהתרסק מסוק בבקעת הירדן ב-10 במאי 1977 (כ"ג באייר תשל"ז), אירוע שנקרא אסון הנ"ד.
הערות: האנדרטה בנויה מלוחות אבן היוצרים את האותיות נ"ד ועוצבה בידי הצייר אריה מוסקוביץ. לראש הגבעה מובילה שדרת עצי דקל. בקדמת האנדרטה נמצאת כתובת: "והיו למאורות ברקיע השמים להאיר על הארץ" (בראשית, א', ט"ו). על האנדרטה יש לוחות מתכת עליהם מופיעים סמלי הצנחנים וחיל האוויר וכן שמות 54 הנספים: 44 לוחמים מגדוד 890 ו-10 מצוות חיל האוויר. במקום חורשה של 54 עצי זית וליד כל עץ נחקקו שמות הנספים באבן. בצד האנדרטה נמצאים שני סלעים, על האחד מופיע סיפור ההתרסקות ועל השני מופיע שיר שכתב אחד מלוחמי הפלוגה.
