הערות: המאיץ על-שם קופלר במרכז קנדה לפיסיקה גרעינית במכון ויצמן למדע תוכנן ע"י האדריכל משה הראל ב1975. במבנה שני מגדלים. אחד, דמוי בורג, בגובה 57 מטר. בראש השני, שגובהו 53 מטרים, מבנה דמוי ביצה שאורכו 22 מטרים ורוחבו 14 מטרים. מאיץ החלקיקים היה פעיל בין השנים 1976-2010. זהו מתקן המגביר את מהירותם של חלקיקים ע"י העברתם בשדות חשמליים ומגנטיים לביצוע ניסויים פיזיקליים שונים. לימוד ועיבוד המידע הנאסף בגלאים מאפשר לפענח ולהבין את תכונותיהם של החלקיקים המרכיבים את החומר ביקום ואת הכוחות שמועברים ביניהם.
