Description
English: Bien Hoa Province, South Vietnam. 1968-06. The constant threat of enemy mortar or rocket attacks sends Australian soldiers underground on operations in South Vietnam. Gunner Vince Dunn of Sylvania Heights, NSW, digs in at Fire Support Base (FSB) Kiama in Bien Hoa Province, north-east of Long Binh. Gunner Dunn is a member of 102nd Field Battery, Royal Australian Artillery (RAA). He is filling sandbags with the extracted sand.
