English: Sgt. Aaron Fouts, an infantryman assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters “Hatchet” Company, 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment “Leader Rakkasans,” 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), supporting 3rd Infantry Division, prepares to fire an M-110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System at the Estonian Defence League’s Stage II of the Long-Range Distance Shooting Championship Series held at the Estonian Defence Force’s Kikepera Training Ground near Parnu, Estonia, April 6, 2024. Among dozens of elite international competitors, Fouts placed third in the Semi-Automatic category, which included targets from 300 meters to 600 meters. The 3rd Infantry Division’s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps in Europe.
