| Description |
More 'mileage' in 1405 on one of the two 'dead end' branches from Nässjö, although both extend on for freight traffic. This is Eksjö before returning back on 10 May 2022 with a 10 minute or so turnaround time - train 7658, 11:48 Eksjö to Nässjo Centralstation. After completing some other lines in the area,. my plans were to cover an afternoon service on the branch from Nässjö to Vetlanda. Before the trip I noticed many trains in the area worked by Y31 were 'planned' not to run and instead replaced by a bus. This was down to an ongoing shortage. However the 15:20 to Vetlanda was scheduled a tran and was advertised right up until 15:05 when obviously the previous working wasn't a train. The departure screen 'magically turned from a train to a bus. Unfortunately my plans and further trains on that line replaced by buses meant I had to miss out on Vetlanda. |
