Description

O 1º Esquadrão de Aeronaves Remotamente Pilotadas (EsqdQE-1) realizou, no período de 16 a 26 de outubro, o exercício de mobilização logística “Robalo”.

Todos os equipamentos componentes do Sistema de Aeronaves Remotamente Pilotadas Embarcado (SARP-E) “ScanEagle” — aeronaves, lançador, recolhedor, estação de controle terrestre, sobressalentes, entre outros — foram transportadas da Base Aérea Naval de São Pedro da Aldeia e transportados para a Base Aérea de Santa Cruz, de onde as aeronaves estão sendo lançadas e recolhidas.

No exercício, as aeronaves RQ-1 "ScanEagle" realizam voos de observação em pontos sensíveis no perímetro da Base de Submarinos da Ilha da Madeira (BSIM) e das embarcações nas cercanias.

O exercício permite ao EsqdQE-1 colocar em prática os conhecimentos logísticos e operativos necessários ao emprego do “ScanEagle” a partir de uma base operacional alternativa em terra.
