Description |
English: Medieval copper alloy buckle plate, 49mm long and 10mm wide. The object has a green patina and is in a fair condition. The object consists of a rectangular sectioned shaft, 2mm thick, which elongates slightly along its length. At the wide end it has a circular hole for the pin with a rectangular recess just above it. The metal in between this has snapped forming one hole. There is no sign of decoration. |
