A U.S. Navy honor guard presents the colors at the commissioning ceremony for the U.S. Navy's newest Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108) at Penn's Landing in Phildelphia, Pa., Oct. 10, 2009. Meyer, who passed away in September and known as the "Father of Aegis" developed the weapons systems that are the center piece of the Navy's cruiser and destroyer fleet.
