| Description |
English: With the opening up of the rail link to Oslo's Gardermoen Airport in the late 1990s along with the 14.5 km long Romerike tunnel from Oslo Sentral to Lillestrøm, Flytoget AS were awarded the contract to run services connecting station to the west of Oslo, through the City centre and to the airport. Running 6 trains an hour, 5 originating at Drammen or Stabekk with one further one at Oslo Sentral itself. Charging a premium fare at almost double that on the regular Vy local or regional service which takes no more than 5 minutes longer.
Flytoget operate a fleet of 16 x BM71 4-car sets. Seen at Oslo Central on 9 September 2019, set 71007 forms train 3769, 15:22 Drammen to Oslo Lufthavn. |
