English: Holy Cross Parish Church (Plaza Santa Inez, Krus na Ligas, Quezon City) Decree of Establishment February 10, 1998 Solemnly Consecrated February 21, 1998, Founded 1800 Roman Catholic Diocese of Cubao April 22, 2006 Document, Declared a Historical Site and Place of Worship on December 7, 1998 its Centennial by the Joint Agreement of the University of the Philippines, founded 1908 by the Dean of Social Science and Philosophy and by the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) founded 1933; Katipunan Headquarters formerly Gulod part of Markina City, and part of Old Balara, the Barangay's name originated from the cross-branched poison ivies Ligas tree in the form of a Cross, miraculous in the Church; it was here that Andres Bonifacio and the Katipunan found shelter and rested after retreat from Battle of Pasong Tamo and Balintawak mayhem on August 26, 1896; located in the List of barangays of Metro Manila, Legislative districts of Quezon City District II, Barangays of Quezon City Barangay Krus na Ligas, beside Sikatuna Village, District IV, Diliman, Quezon City List of roads in Metro Manila (Note: Judge Florentino Floro, the owner, to repeat, Donor Florentino Floro of all these photos hereby donate gratuitously, freely and unconditionally all these photos to and for Wikimedia Commons, exclusively, for public use of the public domain, and again without any condition whatsoever). |
