Français : Daniel Dutil raconte dans une entrevue, qu'il a été inspiré par l'histoire de la rivière Ashuapmushuan. Cette rivière est une véritable autoroute pour les Autochtones et les premiers colons européens pour la traite des fourrures . Cette œuvre exprime la mouvance de l'eau dont le courant modifie les rives en déplaçant les bancs de sable. C'est pourquoi l'artiste a gravé le tracé de la rivière Ashuapmushuan sur un pilier de granit rose. |
