Description |
English: Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 28mm in diameter and 14mm thick. The object is in a fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 35.16grams. The object has been roughly cast and has a sub-spherical section with a central hole 9mm in diameter. Its surfaces are decorated with raised lines, one side has lines radiating from the centre whilst the other has randomly placed lines, some forming triangles. |
