Italiano: Costituito da due bastoncini di carbone affacciati la cui distanza si può regolare. Essi sono inseriti in due anelli che fanno parte di un circuito elettrico terminante con i due serrafili. Ponendo a contatto i carboni e applicando una tensione di 40/50 Volt, passa una corrente continua abbastanza intensa che produce calore per effetto Joule. Si allontanano i carboni e questa interruzione provoca un brusco riscaldamento del catodo. |
