Italiano: Lo strumento è composto da un ago magnetico appoggiato in corrispondenza del suo baricentro, sulla punta di un piccolo cilindro verticale, sorretto da una base metallica. Se si avvicina ai poli di un ago magnetico il polo di un altro ago si verifica che i poli dello stesso segno si respingono mentre quelli di segno contrario si attraggono. L’ago magnetico risente dell’azione dovuta alla presenza di corpi di ferro e di acciaio e devia dalla sua naturale direzione Sud-Nord. |
