Description
English: 365-367 Green Lanes

We have been several times. Tasty fish; large portions served by helpful friendly staff.

When I took this photo we hadn't tried it and made the mistake of reading some online reviews.

About half seem to be written by people who, on entering the restaurant seem to dive into a warm pool of fishy-blissfulness.

While the other half were carping with righteous anger at #Hashtag's rather trivial failings, including:   ● Having to wait while fresh fish was cooked.   ● A perception that one waiter was not sufficiently attentive.   ● The price of cod caused by dwindling fish stocks.   ● Objections to the name #Hashtag

One blogger, named "Boycey juvenile rave slut", warned that the new fish and chip shop "heralds apocalypse" and "Brixtonification" of the area.

What were BJRS's parents thinking of to give him a name like that?

But in any case he is way, way behind the times. As anyone can see who follows the local East Highgate Harringay Online website. Its discussion thread on #Hashtag is a model of balanced objectivity.
