Description
English: Airey houses located on Bayley’s Close in the village of Empingham in the county of Rutland, England. These houses have now been demolished and replaced with modern housing. An Airey house is a type of prefabricated house built in post-World War II Great Britain, designed by Sir Edwin Airey. Many are now in a poor state of repair due to degradation of the materials. They are not generally mortgageable unless repaired and refurbished to certain standards.
