1 print : lithograph, offset  ; bookplate 10.3 x 5.5 cm, on mount 22.9 x 15.3 cm.

Notes: Typescript letter dated Feb. 4th, 1922, from Burroughs to Ruthven Deane on back of bookplate mount explains the significance of the plate design. Title devised by Library staff. Print shows Tarzan holding the planet Mars, surrounded by other characters from Burroughs' stories and symbols relating to the author's personal interests and career. Forms part of the Ruthven Deane Bookplate Collection.
