Summary
[edit]Description(1338) Dipleurina lacustrata - Flickr - Bennyboymothman.jpg |
A longer break than expected... Well I am back after a break from blogging and mothing, another break this weekend, this time to Cornwall! The week has been dreary and cool, but we have had plenty of cloud cover, but the temperatures...my god they have struggled to get to 12 degrees day time. >From tomorrow and into the weekend and hopefully fingers crossed next week, it looks set to warm up again. Another good catch despite everything getting a soaking. It was certainly a Minor night with both Marbled and Tawny Marbled turning up and a good candidate for Rufous Minor...it will be examined in due course. An absolutely mint Brown Rustic was also a first for the year, I don't get many of these. Pseudargyrotoza conwagana was new for the garden (strangely I thought I had recorded it last year, apparently not!) Also a bit of migrant activity with Silver Y and Plutella xylostella showing up. Back to trapping on Sunday night!
