中文（臺灣）：鴻指園記石碑。攝於國立臺灣歷史博物館。
碑文 署西偏，廣可數畝，古榕三株，蟠根屈曲，志稱榕梁；枝葉展翠，又稱榕屏，舊四合亭址也。歲久且蕪。予就而新之：芟荒涂，鑿深沼，護花欄，砌曲徑。別作堂宇，以為遊觀：中列三楹，盛宴會也；左縛小亭，備遊憩也；右架層榭，憑眺望也。夫古人流連景物，偶然寄之，去無所貪，來無所戀。漢水、峴山，陵谷變遷，歐陽公嘗譏杜預、羊祜汲汲於名，是不若蘇氏雪泥鴻指之說為足盡其義也。予台陽守土，幾歷兩載，思海外風景，與吏民相安，百堵皆作成於不日。所謂偶然而留，亦為其可留者耳，果何有哉！園既成，取以額之；因書其微指於此。 乾隆乙酉仲春之望，貴陽蔣允焄識 |
