中文（臺灣）：鳳儀書院頭門，即為書院門廳，左右兩側有牆門，門額上分別提有"說禮樂"及"敦詩書"，這門額題字出於左傳，春秋時期楚包圍宋，宋向晉求救，晉文公問大夫趙衰誰能擔任中軍將，趙衰說:「郤縠可。臣亟聞其言矣，說禮樂而敦詩書。詩書，義之府也。禮樂，德之則也。德義，利之本也。《夏書》曰：『賦納以言，明試以功，車服以庸。』君其試之。」
