Description
中文(臺灣):本文介紹高雄市的鮪魚產業及其種類,本市為國際知名的鮪釣漁業基地,漁場遍及全球,對國家漁業有相當經濟貢獻,更能間接進行國民外交。

本市漁業之發展始於日治的1916年,其後漁船規模逐漸擴大,漁場也由近海擴展至蘇緣海、南中國海、西里伯斯海,進至太平洋中部及印度洋東南部。鮪魚種類有黃鰭鮪、大眼鮪、長鰭鮪、黑鮪等,偶爾有印度鮪,黃鰭鮪和大眼鮪為內銷,其餘為外銷。黃鰭鮪、大眼鮪分布於太平洋、大西洋、印度洋之溫熱帶海域,為基本鮪類,是重要的經濟鮪類。黑鮪為基本鮪類,漁場是臺灣東海面至日本薩南黑潮海域,在戰前較為常見,頗具經濟價值。南方鮪為黑鮪與大眼鮪的雜交種,漁場在印度洋東南部,南半球亦有漁場,肉質近黑鮪。長鰭鮪,分布於溫熱帶海域。大西洋鮪分布大西洋西部熱帶海域,臺灣較少見。長腰鮪,分布於日本南部、臺灣至澳洲等地。

從上述可見臺灣食用的經濟鮪類是黃鰭鮪、大眼鮪,目前也逐漸興起吃黑鮪。
