中文：澳洲維省欽廉同鄉會所屬護國觀音廟於10月6日上午吉時舉行金觀音菩薩聖像開光儀式，政要僑領出席踴躍，包括駐墨爾本辦事處翁處長瑛敏、鍾僑務秘書文昌、王僑務委員桂鶯及各界僑領與鄉親近百人捻香祈福，共襄盛舉，人群穿梭，觀音廟內外充滿熱鬧喜氣。

開光儀式結束後，一行人移往鄰座之維省柬華聯誼會禮堂，主辦單位準備豐盛素膳及特色家鄉風味甜品招待嘉賓。馮會長昌成致詞，感謝各鄉親、政要、僑領們撥冗蒞臨，更感謝鄉親及十方善信，共修福德，贊助金觀音菩薩聖像基金，讓開光典禮如期舉行。
翁處長、王僑務委員及各僑領分別上台致詞，肯定該會的團結向心、對社區服務的熱心及弘揚觀世音菩薩大慈大悲的精神。翁處長特別表示，對欽廉同鄉的愛國義氣、熱愛自由民主的傳統精神，給予高度評價，同時感謝欽廉同鄉會對中華民國的支持及對辦事處的協助，並祝福欽廉同鄉會會務興隆、護國觀音廟香火鼎盛及與會人員平安健康。

遠道而來觀禮的雪梨欽廉同鄉會代表亦上台祝賀，對兄弟會的茁壯發展，感到與有榮焉，未來雙方將持續密切聯繫合作，以觀世音菩薩慈悲救難精神，服務社區，造福人群。
