日本語: 栃木県芳賀郡茂木町大字馬門に位置し那珂川の支流である逆川にある馬門の滝。
那珂川県立自然公園 馬門の滝は、那珂川の両岸の河岸段丘から流下する小さな滝が遡ってきた幼年期の滝。両岸は安山岩が切り立つ天然の岩滝で高さ7.6m、幅27.3m、かつては、ここから上流で魚が遡れなかったということから「魚止めの滝」とも呼ばれた。ここは水力発電所があった所で、芳賀最初の電灯がこの滝より灯った。 |
