中文（繁體）：青花歐為士訂製銘瓶（1552年，吉美國立亞洲藝術博物館藏），臺北市士林區陽明山次分區臨溪里（雙溪庄外雙溪）
English: The two bands of Portuguese words between the neck and the belly reveal the identity of this vase as part of an order placed by Portuguese merchant Jorge Álvares in 1552. Academic research indicates that Alvares was acquaintance of the Jesuit missionary Francis Xavier. Therefore, the vase could be paired with the map of Shangchuan Island as well as recent publications on archeological excavations for insights on the Portuguese activities off the coast of Guangdong prior to the establishment of the Portuguese base in Macau.
