中文（臺灣）：吳沙為開發宜蘭的重要功臣，當年宜蘭蠻荒未闢，吳沙率領漳、泉、粵三籍漢人來此開墾，初始與噶瑪蘭人常起爭端，後來流行天花疾病，吳沙以藥救助他們，噶瑪蘭人心生感激，大家終於和平相處，奠定了開蘭之基，故吳沙被尊為開蘭第一人。 |
