中文（臺灣）：作者以行政院文化建設委員會委由遠流出版之《鳳山縣采訪冊》為底本，就盧德嘉所著之《鳳山縣采訪冊》進行勘誤，共臚列出119點疑問或勘誤。作者認為盧氏所撰之內容，在「修志事宜」中要求造報之建置沿革襲用舊制、輿圖測繪、物產土宜、土客風俗等雖多未納入，但其所采訪造報部分，對於研究清代鳳山縣史事，已有很大助益。
作者利用臺灣布政使司之丈單，指出光緒15年已稱後勁庄為後硬庄、保舍甲庄已屬觀音中里、梓官庄已屬仁壽上里而非觀音里、仁壽里。然而采風冊中卻仍使用舊稱，易誤導讀者。另一常引起誤解者係將「鳳山八景」中之「翠屏夕照」認為是觀音山，實為今之半屏山；「丹渡晴帆」認為是愛河之「丹鳳澳」，實為丹鳳澳北之萬丹港，即今之左營港。 最後作者也點出將「兵事」一項至於「藝文」部中並不妥適，且牡丹社等事件均未觸及，實屬缺憾。藝文部中七絕、五絕等詩體中，新輯者多但都未加此附目，容易使讀者誤以為是舊志所有，實為不妥。 |
