中文：我國中美洲友邦貝里斯眾議院議長裴瑞菲德(Hon. Michael George Peyrefitte)104年4月22日下午拜會監察院長張博雅，瞭解我國監察制度及職權，並贊同加強雙邊監察交流，共同提升監督政府效能。

張院長首先歡迎訪賓一行蒞臨監察院，瞭解我國五權憲政架構下的監察制度。張院長指出，監察院憲政位階高，擁有彈劾、糾舉、糾正等權力，具有更強制衡效果。張院長也提到日前國際監察組織秘書長來訪時曾表示，監察院職權是該組織全球170多個會員中最大，值得各國參考；也期盼日後有機會能與貝里斯監察單位進行更多交流，相互學習。
裴瑞菲德議長表示，貝國監察使公署部分功能與我國相似，同樣受理民眾陳情，也具憲法賦予的調查權，但只設1名監察使，調查結果也僅具建議權，我方經驗確實值得該國參考，雙邊應有更多交流。裴瑞菲德議長另也針對監察院彈劾權行使、監委是否能申請自動調查、監委產生方式及提名資格等諸多面向提問。
在得知張院長為五院首位女性院長，且目前女性監委人數多於男性後，裴瑞菲德議長深表肯定，認為女性卓越的能力確實應獲得更大發揮空間，也是性別平權的進步象徵。
裴瑞菲德議長此行係應我國政府邀請來臺訪問，也是首度訪臺。他表示時間短暫但印象極佳，允諾將再度來訪，也邀請張院長等人訪問貝國。

當日訪賓另有貝里斯國會秘書室主任韋伯斯特(Mr. Eddie Webster)，並由貝里斯駐華大使妮絲畢(Amb. Cherie Minette Nisbet)及外交部禮賓處處長曾瑞利等人陪同蒞院。監察院副院長孫大川及監委江綺雯也陪同出席接待。
