中文（臺灣）：本文探討鳳山開發史的客家人，一般認為鳳山的開發是源自林爽文事件，但實際上自康熙末年鳳山（下陂頭街）地域已相當繁榮，故可推論康熙中期已有漢人在此開發。
開發者除奉祀觀音菩薩的泉州人外，還有奉祀三山國王的客家人。關於泉州人建設的龍山寺與天后宮，根據史料與碑記皆可證明兩者在乾隆初年建造。客家人建設的三山國王廟位於陂頭街尾的三角通街（約在龍山寺西北約五百公尺，天后宮東南約一百公尺），乾隆18年建，三廟成三角對峙。但客家人因道光12年發生的許成之亂，許成以「滅粵」為由起事，使得多數客家人遷移他處，剩餘的則被「河洛化」，以至於現在多認為鳳山無客家人，三山國王廟也可能在日治時期或戰後初期被拆除。 從上述看來鳳山在康熙中期即有漢人開發，其中包含泉州人與客家人，但因亂事使得客家人被迫遷移，導致現在已較難尋找客家人存在的蹤跡，但他們也曾是開發鳳山的功臣之一。 |
