Description
中文(简体):西安孔庙大成殿原为明代庑殿式建筑,平面呈长方形,面阔七间,进深五间,屋面覆以琉璃,台基、阶陛围以石栏,是孔庙最重要的建筑。1959年毁于雷火,台基在上世纪七十年代拆除。现碑林广场,即大成殿遗址所在。
English: The Site of Dacheng Hall in the Xi' an Confucius Temple Dacheng Hall, built in the Ming Dynasty with the style of Wudian (廡殿) Ding is the most important building in the Confucius Temple. It was then destroyed by thunder fire in 1959. The site where the Beilin Square locates at is just the historic site of Dacheng Hall.
