中文（臺灣）：蘇花公路是一條臺灣東海岸的公路，屬於省道台9線的其中一段，北起宜蘭縣蘇澳鎮白米景觀橋，南至花蓮縣花蓮市，全長一百餘公里，是一條世界聞名的景觀公路。 蘇花公路前名為臨海道路，建成通車於1932年6月，是國民政府來台後才將其改為如今「蘇花公路」一名。後來隨著北回線鐵路通車後，蘇花公路也以景觀公路、採礦砂石要道為主從而取代其聯結蘇澳與花蓮的客運功能。 蘇花公路因為其路途行駛過程中的海天一色美景，一邊是蜿蜒綿延的東部海岸線，可眺望太平洋廣闊，一邊是陡峭險峻的山邊一側，沿山循海修築的蘇花公路，結合山色與海景，時而遁入縱谷山間時而迎面可望無邊海洋。其中的清水段即是當年人工最為困難的一段，清水斷崖也是如今著名的景點之一，堪稱最致命危險的美麗絕景。 |
