中文（臺灣）：荳蘭社為花蓮奇萊平原上南勢八社的阿美族部落之一，位於今日吉安鄉南昌、宜昌村一帶。在清末方志《臺東州采訪冊》（作者胡傳）中記述其所在地理位置與人口：「薄薄東北，距花蓮港五里；三百二十一戶，男、女一千五百六十三人。」又稱「斗難」。1937年（昭和12年），日人將荳蘭依照日語發音的近音字，改成日式地名「田浦」（Taura）。戰後將原先的日式地名田浦改為「田埔」，沿用至今。從圖中可見當時阿美族荳蘭社的服飾受日本人影響甚深，但陶器的使用習慣仍然持續。此影像收錄於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》一書，為葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局於2016年（民國105年）出版。書中記錄了花蓮近百年的城市樣貌，是一本擁有豐富文史與圖像資料的書籍。 |
