中文（臺灣）：照片中的洋樓，是花蓮近代史中，對於花蓮在地產業有舉足輕重之影響力的賀田組總部。此照片引自橋本白水《東臺灣》，1922年（大正11年）出版，可以看見建築物華麗的鑄鐵裝飾與極具特色的虎眼窗。大約在1899年（明治32年），賀田組在花蓮港建立企業集團，包括航運業、輕軌運輸、採礦、金融、製糖，甚至亦有拓殖開墾、菸草栽培、製樟腦等事業。賀田組總部在當時的花蓮為相當豪華的建築物，在早期的文獻中都可以找到它的身影。賀田組的墾拓地區包含加禮苑（新城鄉嘉里村與佳林村）、吳全城（壽豐鄉志學村一帶）、馬黎馬憩（鳳林鎮萬里橋一帶）、加路蘭（豐濱鄉磯崎村）等地。本資料出自於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》，此書由花蓮出身的葉柏強先生撰寫，是一本擁有大量歷史影像的書籍，於2016年（民國105年）出版，可以透過此書了解花蓮的城市變遷樣貌。 |
