中文（臺灣）：此照片為1930年代在花蓮港神社舉辦之祭典活動。花蓮市忠烈祠前身為花蓮港神社，建於大正4年（1915），主祀北川宮能久親王。當時全縣此類日本國家神道的神社規模較小者尚有：吉野神社（位於今吉安村）、林田神社（位於今大榮里）以及佐久間神社（位於今天祥）。神社是為了移民村的日本內地人所設，花蓮於明治43年（1910）設立第一座官營移民村──吉野移民村，至大正4年（1915）為止，吉安鄉的吉野移民村共移入327戶。移民村內設施完善，是一個自給自足的社區，吉野神社就是為了日本移民所設置。照片提供：謝榮松。 |
