中文（臺灣）：照片為花蓮港神社的一側。花蓮港神社興建於大正五年（1916），供奉北白川宮能久親王、開拓三神（大國魂命、大己貴命、少彥名命），從花蓮港神社往下俯視可以看見當時的田園景色以及荳蘭、吉野村一帶，當時神社階梯前的參拜道由白石鋪成，延伸至今花蓮市中山路與林森路路口，從昭和10年（1935）吉田初三郎繪製的《大太魯閣交通鳥瞰圖》中可以看見參拜大道上的鳥居共有4座，以及兩排12座的石燈籠，當年神社建築與佔地頗具規模，是花蓮地區重要的神社，可惜現都已被拆除，改建為現今的忠烈祠。圖片中可以看見神社的階梯旁有許多的石燈籠，階梯下方延伸至遠處的白色參拜大道及位於之間的鳥居。 |
