| Description |
中文（繁體）：舊鼓山國小原為日治時期的蕃薯藔尋常高等小學校。小學校是專供通日語的學童(幾乎為日籍學童)就讀，學習科目與日本本土一般的尋常小學校完全相同。
民國90年(2001)間鼓山國小遷移至新校區，日治以來的舊建築如禮堂、辦公廳及北棟教室被指定為古蹟。這些建築與空間，文化局透過空間修復工程、景觀改善工程及閒置空間再利用之委託管理維護等，結合「藝文生活」、「公益服務」、「終身學習」的概念賦予新的使用方式，並重定名為「旗山生活文化園區」，使舊建築再現新生命。 |
