English: This place and the Oval Hall are the most exquisite office spaces in the building of Railway Department Administration Headquarters. The doors, windows, pillars, and ceiling are all decorated with sophisticated plaster sculptures, suggesting their importance. In the early period of the building, this place was the Railway Minister's Office and the Oval Hall was served as the meeting room; after the Second World War, the Oval Hall was changed into the Statistics Office and then the Personnel Office, with the Minister's Office changed to the Deputy Chief's Office of the Taiwan Railway Administration. |
