中文（臺灣）：照片中為日治時期的繪葉書，彩色圖案是人工替照片著色而成，繪葉書內容為手持槍枝站在群山前的太魯閣青年。在太魯閣族的傳統習俗當中，狩獵、打獵不僅是要補充肉類的食物來源，更是訓練男人成長的方法之一，也是族人與族人、長輩與後輩、土地、祖靈的重要連結管道，另外亦能展現男性英勇與智慧的重要指標，因此擅長狩獵的男人受到部落族人的尊重。而在太魯閣族打獵的過程中，必須嚴守其Gaya（祖靈）的規範，打獵的季節也會依照自然的循環（如：進入一些主要狩獵的動物繁殖期就不打獵）來避免破壞生態平衡。獵來的食物會帶回部落與族人共享，這樣的循環也造就了太魯閣族人的狩獵文化。此影像收錄於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》一書，為葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局於2016年（民國105年）出版。書中記錄了花蓮近百年的城市樣貌，是一本擁有豐富文史與圖像資料的書籍。 |
