Description
中文（繁體）：臺北刑務所圍牆近景，臺北市大安區和平次分區錦泰里（古亭庄後厝）
English: Each layer of bricks was laid through stretcher-header bonds. The outer course of headers and the inner course of stretchers intersected in a "T" shape, and the inner course of headers and the outer course of stretchers also intersected in a "T" shape. The construction method ensured that the inner and outer course of bricks were laid with "grooves" and "staggered joints" to form a stable structure in which each layer of bricks was interconnected. "Stucco paint" made of granulated sugar and lime was also used to bond the bricks firmly.
