Description
中文（臺灣）：羅東中山公園原名「羅東公園」，是為慶祝昭和天皇登基而設立，約在1930年代前期完成。戰後至晚在1953年時，改稱「中山公園」。但公園在1950年代與1960年代幾經荒廢，在1969年，羅東鎮民代表林燦輝覺得公園甚為荒蕪，野草叢生，因此買了2千多元的花木種植於公園內。1984年，臺灣省政府林務局則捐獻一台退役蒸機關汽車頭陳列在羅東鎮中山公園北側天津路入口處附近供民眾觀賞。 　　陳列於羅東中山公園內之蒸汽機關車頭，原係太平山森林鐵路所使用，林務局編號為2號機關車頭，為日本車輛株式會社於1923年製造出廠之C-Tank型機關車頭。其駕駛室前後均開設兩個圓窗，與後期的標準型矩形窗不同，是其特色。
