[edit]Description皮袋內的火藥筒.jpg |
中文(繁體):皮袋內的火藥筒,臺北市中正區南門次分區龍福里(龍匣口庄/兒玉町一丁目)
English: Camphor is the most important plasticizing raw material in the manufacture of smokeless powder. In 1846, the Swiss Christian Friedrich Schönbein invented nitrocellulose, commonly known as "cotton gunpowder" (guncotton). In 1884, the Frenchman Paul Vieille mixed nitrocellulose with alcohol and ether, and added an appropriate amount of camphor to make it the stabilizer, which becomes a jelly, is pressed into sheets, cut into strips, dried and hardened to produce stable smokeless powder, which is used as propellants for bullets and shells. The propellant is filled in the shell, or in the form of a charge bag or a charge ring, and is used to propel the bullet of a gun or a rocket to fly. It is completely different in nature and use from explosives that will explode. |
