中文（臺灣）：白米甕位於宜蘭縣蘇澳鎮東南部四周環山圍繞，其地名由來有幾種說法:其一為清朝光緒年間登仕太郎王家驥奉命派駐蘇澳今金字山一帶，初至此地居高遠眺時，發現山谷下一條溪河蜿蜒流穿，而乾涸的溪谷露出白石磊磊好似白米粒，又三面環山，座落其中的地勢如甕狀，故稱為「白米甕」。另一傳說為在很久很久以前，有位仙人為了解救來此逃難的百姓，於是在此地一隅的石巖下擺了個大甕，平常甕中會無窮盡地生出白米，夠每個家庭剛好食用；後來卻因為有個貪心的人想要多一點白米據為己有，於是將洞口敲大而破壞了風水，致使白米不再流出，但地名卻流傳後世。 |
