日本語:松倉川の名瀑、白滝は白滝沢から流れ落ちる落差15mの滝で増水時に白布を広げたように岩盤を覆おうように流れ落ちる事で名が着いた。
松倉ダム計画では水没予定だったがダム計画中止で素晴らしい景観が保護された。1992年、ダム計画が表面化してから元北海道職員(林務)だった増田憲二郎氏が建設主管である道建設部へ保護を訴える嘆願書を提出してから市民に知られるようになった。現在は道が一帯を自然観察ゾーンとして活用し簡易な遊歩道も整備され市民も訪れるようになった。 |
