Description
中文（臺灣）：此物件為三級警戒期間，台北捷運頂溪站、東門站、公館站的照片，沒有平日擁擠的人潮，乘客非常稀少，也因此可保持充足社交距離，同時也造成台北捷運嚴重的虧損。

在新冠肺炎疫情三級警戒期間，中央流行疫情指揮中心建議公司可以彈性調配人力，可採彈性上下班時段(分散人流)、分批上班(分散風險)、異地辦公、或是遠距辦公(居家辦公)的措施。同時全國各級學校停止到校上課，學生改採在家線上學習。因此台北捷運的運量驟減，各站都顯得空空蕩蕩。

嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎（Coronavirus disease 2019），簡稱為COVID-19。於2019年12月1日，於中華人民共和國湖北省武漢市發現首宗感染個案（BBC NEWS 中文網，2020年2月18日），並於2020年初迅速擴散傳播至全球多個國家，導致逾2億多例確診，450多萬人死亡，演變成一場全球性大瘟疫。流行初期亦造成全球社會在醫療、民生用品上的恐慌性消費。此外，為防止疫情擴散，全球各國皆被迫關閉公共區域、教育機構等，或是取消、推遲各項娛樂藝能展演、體育賽事，對全球經濟造成不小影響。由於COVID-19主要是通過人與人之間的近距離接觸而傳播，因此，隨時保持社交距離、配戴口罩、保持個人與接觸物品表面間的清潔、勤洗手，是目前被認為較為有效能夠預防COVID-19傳播的方法。
