| Description |
中文（臺灣）：南方澳南天宮有一尊遠近聞名的金身媽祖，而在廟內二樓坐鎮的是一尊罕見的玉身媽祖。一座純金打造的媽祖神像於1995年在南天宮舉行安座大典，於此幾年後，據悉由媽祖托夢，希望再添置一尊玉媽祖，以應承「金玉滿堂尊」之美意。廟方再度請示媽祖神旨明示何處可以尋覓上等的玉原石和何處之金石匠師雕塑，媽祖提示因緣皆降臨在花蓮。而後由花蓮傳來佳音稱，遠在加拿大發現一顆巨型上等玉原石，其品質堪稱極品。於是廟方遵旨尋得著名藝術大家劉萬枝與葉雙寶共同創作。並於2000年舉行開光暨落座大典。南天宮正面南方澳漁港，進出討海的船隻承蒙媽祖庇佑，也使媽祖信仰在南方澳興盛不衰。 |
