中文（臺灣）：宜蘭公園最特殊的是有個獻馘碑，其他地方少見。「馘」(音同「果」)所指的是首級之意，以前泰雅族人有「出草」獵取平地漢人及噶瑪蘭領導頭顱的習俗，清朝多次出兵圍剿，卻無功而返，而後在日軍剿撫並施的政策下，泰雅族人不再有「出草」的傳統，因而建立此碑塔，不僅代表長久以來族群從磨擦到和平，也為紀念多位長眠於此的英靈。 |
