中文（繁體）：世界唯一原地保存的賓夕凡尼亞式監獄建築嘉義舊監獄，於日據時期大正11年(1922)竣工啟用，民國83年3月嘉義監獄搬遷至鹿草鄉，直至目前為止已沒有受刑人收容於此。
民國94年5月26日獲內政部 (台內民字09400612862號函)公告嘉義舊監所為國定古蹟。 |
