中文（臺灣）：永春里位在蘇澳鎮東南部，全區大部分為山區，日治以前大多屬生番地界，除少數隘墾聚落外，人口稀少，日治時期開發水泥事業，戰後延續水泥事業，中油並利用山谷平地作為蘇澳油庫，因臨山區，礦石工業特多為其特色。 永春城位在今中油蘇澳油庫辦事處，為一隘墾城，據傳在道光年間，有林永春者，招募佃戶闢地墾耕，並從事樵採，因番害劇烈曾築圍以禦，因此稱為永春城（洪敏麟：449）。但另根據白長川推論，永春應為移民的原鄉地名永春縣，原隸屬福建泉州，後雖改轄永春州，但居民仍自認為泉州人，與泉州人有共同的主祀神，而法主公（張公）則為泉州安溪主要地方神衹，亦為永春人的主祀神，因此白氏認為永春城應為來自永春縣的移民所建立的防禦性聚落（白長川：185～186） |
