中文（臺灣）：宜蘭縣頭城鎮「更新里」原名「梗枋」，早年是進出蘭陽平原的咽喉，北通三貂，南達烏石港，是鎮守北關的要地，目前為頭城鎮五個漁村中發展腹地最大的一個聚落，也是龜山島與頭城鎮最短距離之處。「梗枋」地名由來有二：一說推測由於漢人先民們曾在此地設置攔阻的木板，防範原住民或野獸的侵犯因此得名；另一說為此地山坡有滑動地層，因此山嶺時常無故「硬」是「崩」落，而取其諧音；1980年代台鐵在此開鑿雙線隧道時，即因此地勢吃進苦頭，1969年十月三日，芙勞西颱風來襲，山坡地果然又「硬崩」，災情慘重，後響應當地居民的要求，遂更名為「更新里」。不過，漁港與學校則仍然沿用舊名，稱為「梗枋漁港」、「梗枋國民小學」。 |
